Commercial Relationships and Disclosures
Links to shops can be useful, and they can also earn money, so here is how we handle them. As of 12 October 2026, no affiliate or sponsorship link is set up on the site; this page will say so when that changes.
Commercial links
If a link earns us a commission, we say so beside that link, with this wording:
Affiliate disclosure: We may earn a commission if you buy through these links, at no extra cost to you.
Paid or sponsored links get sponsored/nofollow treatment, so search engines know they're commercial. A product mentioned without a link isn't a commercial placement. If we ever carry a sponsored piece, we'll label it as sponsored.
Safety pages don't pitch
Pages about safety, interactions and legal status carry no product pitch. Where a retailer's claim appears on a page, we quote it as that retailer's claim and say whose it is.
For how we choose the products we mention, see our how products are selected page. For evidence, AI and corrections, see our editorial approach and corrections page.
Where to read next
The other trust pages cover who we are and how we work:
- Editorial approach and corrections, for how we pick and read sources, how AI-assisted drafting and review work and how pages are dated.
- About Smart Supplements, for what the site covers, why 'smart' means two things and how it's made.
