Place the substrate box inside the grow bag. Fold the top of the bag and secure it with the paperclip, leaving the filtered vent exposed for gas exchange. Mushrooms breathe — they consume oxygen and produce CO2, just like we do.

The fix: Fan the bag more aggressively during misting. Open the top wider for a few minutes each time you check on it.

Fuzzy White Growth at the Base

Spore Drop (Black/Purple Powder on Caps)
